As a CRM consultant, I lead change in organizations where customer/vendor relationship management is crucial for business success. CRM for me is a broad umbrella term, where you can find elements of sales, marketing and service automation, customer experience and customer engagement.
I found my niche by working as a bridge between the management and IT sides, helping both achieve the best outcome from their CRM transformation. Businesses usually want clarity on the alternatives for solutions and the best path to take forward. IT folks like working with me as I bring clarity to business requirements, scope and priorities to them.
In order to achieve this, I have to be fluid in my role, vaguely named a "Consultant". In practice, I wear the hats of business and process analyst, project manager, product manager, team lead and evangelist. Combined with domain expertise in all things CRM, I know I can offer a lot to your organization.
